In a major development, Shobha Shetty has quit Bigg Boss Kannada season 11. Yes, you read that right! Gossip mills claimed that the BBK 11 wildcard contestant quit the game mid-away. The rumours spread like wildfire on the internet and later, they were confirmed when she was not seen in the episodes.

Shobha Shetty remained in the headlines following her wildcard entry in Bigg Boss Kannada 11. However, she couldn't play the game as expected. Host Kiccha Sudeep grilled her, reminding her that she was not doing Bigg Boss Telugu. Her decision to quit the show set several tongues wagging.

Contrary to the rumours, Shobha didn't leave the show due to Kiccha Sudeep. She stated that she decided to bid adieu to the BBK 11 house due to her health issues.

"The journey has taken an unexpected turn, but everything has a REASON behind! And that reason must be known to every one who has supported Shobha. My Bigg Boss journey has Ended. My health is not supporting me to focus on the game despite the will to advance. I have not taken anyone or anything lightly as this decision of mine is to maintain my health and proceed towards the responsibilities of my life (sic)," she said in her statement.

The actress further added, "I am grateful for all the love and support you have shown me throughout and please FORGIVE me if I have hurt anyone knowingly or unknowingly. Thank you to my people, My Colors Kannada team, and my beloved Kiccha Sudeep Sir. I will surely come before you again in some capacity to entertain you & to regain your love."

She expressed her gratitude to the audience and the channel for the love and support. She promised to entertain the viewers once again in the near future.

After Shobha's elimination, the nominated contestants were given another chance as the makers scrapped the eviction process on the weekend episode.
