Darshan Suffers From Diarrhea: Reports

In the recent reports that have surfaced online about Darshan's case, the actor who is now the main accused in the murder case of Renuka Swamy, his fan, is suffering from diarrhea. He lost weight and has been losing it at a fast rate due to a stomach infection said his lawyer. The actor's lawyer put a special request to the Karnataka High Court on behalf of Darshan. At first, he sought home-cooked food which the court denied.

Darshan's Lawyers Ask For Home Food, A Bed, Etc

The lawyer also reportedly requested a bed, some books, and a newspaper, along with the food. Darshan's counsel also mentioned that prisoners are allowed to receive food, clothing, and beds from outside as per Section 30 of the Prisons Act 1963. In addition, the accused has not been found guilty as yet. In their report, the lawyers mentioned, "The government expenditure will be reduced if food, bed, books, and newspapers are allowed from home. Not allowing home food for Darshan is inhumane and a violation of Article 21 of the Indian Constitution."

Despite pleas, the HC ruled against it and stated that the rules are common for all and Darshan will be treated the same. In addition, the court asked the counsel to present orders from other courts to facilitate outside food, as mentioned by 123 Telugu in their report.

Darshan Arrested For Murder of His Fan Renuka Swamy

Meanwhile, Darshan, who was arrested for the torture and eventual murder of his fan from Chitradurga, Renuka Swamy, over his affair with actress Pavithra Gowda, sent shockwaves among the film fraternities and his fans after getting arrested on June 9. The body of Renuka Swamy was found near Darshan's house and his garage where he was allegedly held captive and was harassed before being killed.
