Darshan Arrested In Renuka Swamy Murder Case: Sandalwood's beloved actor, known as the "Challenging Star," Darshan Thoogudeepa, has been arrested in connection with a murder case. The arrest occurred today at a farmhouse in Mysuru, and he is currently being transported to Bangalore for further proceedings.

The victim, identified as S. Renuka Swamy, aged 33 and hailing from Chitradurga, was found dead in the drain in Kamakshipalya, the western part of the city.

Allegations suggest that Darshan played a significant role in orchestrating the murder, as confessed by the nine accused perpetrators arrested along with the actor. Renuka Swamy was purportedly lured to a shed located within Kamakshipalya police station limits and fatally attacked, supposedly in response to alleged obscene comments and messages directed at Pavithra Gowda, an actress closely associated with Darshan.

Upon discovery, Renukaswamy's demise was initially perceived as a suicide. However, subsequent investigations unveiled evidence pointing to foul play, leading to the reclassification of the incident as a homicide.

Who Is Renuka Swamy?

Renuka Swamy, a resident of Lakshmi Venkateswara Nagar in Chitradurga, was employed as an assistant at Apollo Medical. His father works at Bescom. He was also married, and his wife was pregnant at the time. His sudden disappearance raised concerns, prompting his family to register a complaint with the police. A police investigation led to the tragic discovery of his lifeless body in a drain in Kamakshipalya, western Bangalore. It was the locals who saw the dead body in the drain and immediately informed the police.

The motive behind Renukaswamy's murder appears to stem from allegations of sending inappropriate content to Pavithra Gowda, who shares a close bond with Darshan. As tensions escalated, the fatal assault resulted in Renuka Swamy's untimely demise, followed by the disposal of his body in a nearby drain.
