Darshan Discharged From Hospital, Heads Straight To Court For Bail Formalities

Darshan Discharged From Hospital: Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who had been receiving treatment at BGS Gleneagles Hospital in Bengaluru, was discharged on Monday. This follows the recent grant of regular bail by the Karnataka High Court in the ongoing Chitradurga Renukaswamy murder case, in which Darshan is one of the accused. Previously, he had been granted interim bail for medical reasons, but his planned surgery has been delayed due to health complications.
Along with Darshan, six others, including Pavithra Gowda, were granted bail. With the approval of his regular bail, Darshan was discharged from the hospital.
Darshan Completes Bail Formalities
According to a report by Kannada.news18, upon his discharge, Darshan went directly to the City Civil Court to complete the necessary legal formalities. As per the bail requirements, the accused must appear before the judge and sign certain conditions. Darshan complied with these procedures at Hall 57 of the court, where he signed a bond of ₹1 lakh and provided two sureties, finalizing his bail process.
After completing the court formalities, Darshan is expected to return to his home in Hosakerehalli, where his wife resides. Despite being under medical supervision for over a month, Darshan did not undergo the planned surgery, which was postponed due to his high blood pressure. Doctors had previously warned that failing to undergo surgery could lead to health complications.
Reports suggest that Darshan's legal team had mentioned that the surgery was scheduled for December 11, but it was not performed. Instead, Darshan discharged himself from the hospital and completed the necessary bail process, preparing to return to his family.
