Darshan Haunted By His Murdered Fan Renuka Swamy's Ghost?

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who is currently in jail for over four months, is reportedly sleepless and engulfed with fear in his cell. The actor lost his sleep over his apparitions about the ghost of his fan Renuka Swamy, whom he murdered.

In a report in Navbharat Times, Darshan told the jail officials that he is seeing the ghost of Renuka Swamy and is unable to sleep. Jail officers have also confirmed that Darshan has been screaming often during his sleep.

Darshan's Bail Petition Hearing Today (October 5)

On the other hand, Darshan is awaiting the grant of his bail petition in the murder case. His wife Vijaya Lakshmi is also trying very hard to get him out of jail following the events that led to his arrest. His plea is due today and earlier it was rejected more than twice.

Renuka Swamy Murder Case

On June 11, the police of Bengaluru city arrested Darshan in connection to the abduction and murder of Renuka Swamy, who is a big fan of Darshan. His body was found dumped in a drain in Kamakshipalya on June 9.

Fan Murder Over Extramarital Affair

Renuka Swamy was upset with his hero Darshan's extramarital affair with actress Pavithra Gowda. The duo have been openly living together and their social media handles are filled with pictures from their happy times. Pavithra Gowda's daughter is also close to Darshan.

Renuka Swamy allegedly harassed Pavithra Gowda through his messages on Instagram. He was accused of sending lewd messages and naked texts to Pavithra Gowda using an alias. Renuka Swamy was trapped and kidnapped from Mysore before he was taken to Darshan's Bungalow where he was tortured and beaten to death.
