Darshan Murder Case: Victim Renuka Swamy's Wife Sahana Delivers Baby Boy Four Months After Husband's Death

Darshan's Victim Renuka Swamy's Wife Gives Birth To A Boy: Kannada's most sensational case of Renuka Swamy's murder by actor Darshan Thoogudeepa took a cinematic turn with the Court rejecting bail petition for Darshan, once again.

In the latest update that is heart-wrenching, Renuka Swamy's wife Sahana reportedly gave birth to a baby boy. The news portals on Wednesday morning reported that Sahana gave birth to a boy five months after the tragic death of her husband Renuka Swamy.

Renuka Swamy, who works at a medical shop in Chitradurga was reportedly the only earning member of his family. He got married in 2023 to Sahana and at the time of his death, his wife was pregnant.

Renuka Swamy (Born 1991) was a native of Chitradurga. He was allegedly kidnapped by Darshan's men in connection to his live-in partner Pavithra Gowda. Renuka Swamy is accused of sending lewd messages on social media to Pavithra Gowda, which ended in his torture and his death.

Darshan was arrested on June 9 after the body was found and an initial investigation led the Bengaluru police to the actor. He later confessed to having his victim kidnapped and tortured at his shed. He was beaten to death on the spot. Pavithra Gowda also was arrested and taken into custody for questioning.

On June 7, Renuka Swamy was abducted from his home town and was found dead at Sumanahalli on June 9. One of the accused, Deepak Kumar turned an approver and confessed to having been present at the time of Renuka Swamy's final moments inside the shed. He also distributed Rs 5 Lakh each to four other accused who not only surrendered but also confessed to the crime.

Darshan has been inside the jail for four months as a remand prisoner and is trying hard to acquire bail. He was transferred to Bellary jail from Parappana Agraharam jail, recently. He was named an A2 in the murder case and Pavithra Gowda was booked as A1.
