Darshan's Picture of Him Smoking & Chilling With Inmates Sparks Controversy & Memes: Kannada superstar Darshan aka Darshan Thoogudeepa hit the headlines again for a distasteful update. The actor who is serving jail time for the murder of his fan Renuka Swamy over his illegal affair with actress Pavithra Gowda, irritated his fans and the public with his behaviour inside the jail.

Netizens and the public were enraged when the picture of Darshan chilling with the jail inmates who are rowdy sheeters, in which he was seen smiling, sipping his coffee, and smoking. They were all sitting on comfortable chairs in what looked like a garden and the image sparked controversy as it went viral immediately.

In the picture where he was seen with three others including his manager Nagaraj, and a rowdy sheeter Wilson Garden Naga. The privilege of smoking cigarettes in jail and the comfort are now a matter of concern.

Netizens have started to criticize the actor and the government authorities for this negligence and the allowances Darshan was allowed, for the heinous crime he committed by taking away one's life. Hundreds of posts and memes have come up with people condemning the act as well as making fun of it. They alleged that government is paying a deaf ear and is blind to such things that involves people with money, stature, and power. They are crying over the utter state of affairs regarding law and order implementation and the lack of stringent rules for the inmates, especially murderers.
