December brings good news for Kannada movie lovers as the much awaited Uttarakaanda is set to release in theatres across states. The movie, backed by KRG studios, has already been into its second schedule and is expected to get wrapped up pretty soon.

Why Uttarakaanda Is A Special Movie?

Uttarakaanda marks the collaboration between the already hit duo, Shivanna and Dhananjay. Not only that, it also celebrates the Kannada debut of Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh. The multi-starrer movie will also feature Diganth and Chaitra J Achar in lead roles. Furthermore, it will also cast Umashree in a pivotal role.

Talking about Aishwarya's role in the movie, who is set to play the role of Durgi in the movie, she replaced Ramya in the movie due to the unavailability of the dates of the latter.
