Bus Carrying Kantara 2 Junior Artists Overturns: A bus carrying junior artists from the highly anticipated sequel of the Kantara film met with an accident near Anejari, close to Kollur, on Sunday night. According to a report by Asianet News, the minibus was transporting 20 passengers when it overturned, resulting in injuries to six individuals.

As per News Karnataka, the accident happened when the bus driver swerved to avoid colliding with a bike, leading to the vehicle overturning.The injured artists, primarily dancers, were returning to their hostel in Kollur after wrapping up a shoot in Mudur. The injured were initially treated at Jadkal Mahalakshmi Clinic before being shifted to a hospital in Kundapur for further medical care.

Artists Clash with Driver Over Alleged Negligence

The situation took a contentious turn when some artists accused the driver of using a mobile phone, claiming it contributed to the accident. This led to an altercation, with some artists allegedly assaulting the driver. Members of the local tourist drivers' association later arrived at the scene to support the accused driver and staged a protest, briefly heightening tensions at the site.

The injured artists are reportedly recovering, while an investigation into the accident is underway. Authorities are expected to probe the allegations of negligence and address the events that unfolded post-accident.
