Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Re-release Date: Marking the Kannada Rajyotsava prestigious event, the epic historical movie starring Darshan in the title role, Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna is now gearing up for a re-release with a touch of technical advancements. The movie won many awards including a Filmfare and has a voice-over by Kichcha Sudeepa.

The movie is based on the life of notable freedom fighter Sangolli Rayanna, who hails from Belagavi of Karnataka and revolted against the British. Known for his bravery, his story of life and death made it to the celluloid as a biopic. The movie recovered its production cost and ran for about 100 days across various theatres in Karnataka making about Rs 40 Crore at the box office.

The movie underwent a decent and exciting technical advancement for its re-release and is going to be released all over Karnataka on November 22. In addition, students (Schools and Colleges) who watch the movie will be given a flat 50% discount on the ticket price, reportedly. They are supposed to produce a relevant student identification card to avail the benefit.

The movie is about a hot-blooded youngster Sangolli Rayanna. His father, a village head tries to shield him from the ego-driven politics of the village. However, things turn upside down prompting Rayanna to take charge.

The movie stars Darshan, Jayapradha, Nikita Thukral, Divya Parameshwaran, Shashikumar, Jai Jagadish, Srinivasa Murthy, Avinash, Ramesh Bhat, Doddanna, Shobhraj, and Umashree among others playing supporting roles.

Written and directed by Keshavaditya Naganna, the movie Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna was produced by Anand Appugol. Yashovardhan and Hari Krishna composed the film's entire sound and score with editing handled by Govardhan. Ramesh Babu was in charge of the visuals.
