Darshan, who was taken into custody at Mysuru for the alleged involvement in the murder case of Renuka Swamy, his fan who didn't like Darshan having an affair with Pavithra Gowda. He posted and reacted with inappropriate messages under Pavithra Gowda's social media posts.

For the unversed, Renuka Swamy who belonged to Chitradurga was nabbed by Darshan and his men for allegedly sending lewd messages and threatening Pavithra Gowda about ruining the marital life of Darshan and his wife. Darshan, upset about the same had his men bring Renuka Swamy to his Rajarajeshwari Nagar home and bet him up badly leading to his death. The body of Renuka Swamy was found near Darshan's house on June 9.

At that time, Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi shared the photos of Pavithra Gowda's ex-husband on her Instagram. Pavithra Gowda was introduced to Sanjay Singh before Darshan came into contact. It turned into love and marriage. There are also two daughters. Now after the arrest of Pavitra Gowda, Sanjay Singh has shared information about his marriage, divorce and daughter to Public TV.

Sanjay Singh said that Pavitra Gowda has not spoken to her daughter since her arrest. He said he understood her situation. "I have not spoken to my daughter after this incident.
