Tharun Sudhir Invites Darshan To His Wedding With Sonal Monteiro: In a recent development that has captured significant media attention, director Tharun Sudhir, known for his films in Kannada cinema, has extended a wedding invitation to actor Darshan, who is currently in judicial custody. Darshan's imprisonment is in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, a high-profile matter in which Darshan, along with 10 other individuals, is alleged to have beaten the victim in a shed in Pattanagere, leading to the victim's death. This has kept the actor behind bars.

Initially, Tharun Sudhir had expressed his intention to delay the wedding until Darshan's release, emphasising, "No wedding without Darshan." However, after receiving advice from respected elders and considering Darshan's own suggestions, Tharun Sudhir has chosen to proceed with the wedding on the scheduled date. The wedding will take place after the Ashadha month, in accordance with traditional calendar considerations.

The director's decision to extend the invitation amid Darshan's imprisonment provides clarity to the ongoing speculation about Tharun Sudhir's relationship with the actor. Today, Tharun Sudhir, accompanied by MLA Darshan Puttannaiah, visited Parappana Agrahara Jail to meet Darshan. The two visitors arrived separately and entered the prison through different vehicles. Reports suggest that Tharun Sudhir and Puttannaiah met Darshan in a designated room within the jail.

Sonal Monteiro, who is set to marry Tharun Sudhir, has also been a significant figure in the Kannada and Tulu film industries. She gained prominence for her role in the film Roberrt, directed by Tharun Sudhir. Her film career includes notable performances in Panchatantra and Garadi, both directed by Yogaraj Bhat. Monteiro also appeared in Banaras alongside Zaid Khan and has been involved in several projects, including Sugar Factory, Budhivanta 2, and Margaret Lover of Ramachari. The film Sugar Factory has already been released, while the other titles are slated for release in the near future.
