Ayyana Mane OTT Release Date: ZEE5 will launch its first Kannada original mini-series Ayyana Mane on April 25, 2025. This seven-episode show marks the streaming platform's entry into the Kannada digital content space. The series, set in the 1990s, takes the form of a supernatural murder mystery centered on an ancestral home in the Chikmagalur region of Karnataka.

Directed by Ramesh Indira and produced by Shruthi Naidu Productions, Ayyana Mane follows the story of Jaji, a newlywed bride who moves into her husband's family home. Soon after her arrival, she begins to notice a disturbing pattern-three daughters-in-law from the same family have died under mysterious circumstances over the years. The deaths appear to be linked to a family deity named Kondayya, whose presence looms large over the household.

The show raises questions about whether the root cause of the incidents lies in superstition, ritual belief, or a more human threat. As Jaji begins to investigate, with assistance from the family maid Taayavva and a police officer named Mahanthesh, layers of the household's history begin to surface. Each revelation brings her closer to a possible explanation but also places her in increasingly vulnerable situations.

Kushee Ravi plays the central role of Jaji. She is joined by Akshya Nayak and Manasi Sudheer, among others. The series also includes elements of folklore, local belief systems, and gendered social dynamics, using the household as a focal point for broader tensions.

Production was handled by Shruthi Naidu, who has previously worked on several Kannada television serials such as Punar Vivaha, Brahmagantu, and Sangharsha, as well as the film Premier Padmini. Director Ramesh Indira is known to Kannada audiences for his acting work in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello and Kotee.

Ayyana Mane will be available to stream from April 25 on ZEE5. The series joins a growing number of regional language titles exploring suspense-driven narratives set in culturally specific backdrops.
