Kannada Producer Bharath Kumar Death Reason & Funeral Updates

Bharath Kumar M, known for producing the hit 2019 Kannada film 'Melobba Mayaavi', is no more. According to a report published by ETV Bharath (Kananda), the 43-year-old passed away on Thursday night (May 1) in Bengaluru due to a heart attack.

Reportedly, Bharath Kumar wanted to make a mark of his own and wanted to achieve a lot of things in the film industry. The news of his untimely demise has left everyone heartbroken. Fans, friends, and colleagues, including many celebrities, have extended their condolences on his death.

As per the same ETV report, the last rites of late Bharath Kumar have been scheduled to be performed this afternoon (Friday, May 2) at the Padnur Villar in Puttur, Karnataka.

Besides being a movie producer in the Kannada industry (Sandalwood), Bharath Kumar was apparently working as a self-employed civil builder in Bangalore, as reported by media reports. Born to a couple from Matavu village of Padnur village in Puttur, Bharath was the eldest son of Harish Gowda and Jayanti. The 43-year-old was also a member of the Bangalore and Puttur Kambala Kootas.

If reports are to be believed, Bharath Kumar is survived by his mother, wife Ravikala, son Nihar and daughter Hansika.

Late Bharath Kumar made his debut in the Kannada film as a producer and bankrolled ' 'Melobba Mayaavi', which starred the National Award-winning actor Sanchari Vijay. Kumar had also produced the 2022 Kananda-language thriller film 'Bypass Road'.
