Considering the status and popularity, the leading Kannada GEC has decided to take things a notch higher in the new season.

"Colors Kannada is actively looking for Kiccha Sudeep's replacement in Bigg Boss Kannada 12. Whosoever replaces Sudeep sir will have a tedious task ahead. It's not a cakewalk to strike a chord with the audience and remain the face of the show for eleven seasons. Sudeep leaves big shoes to fill for the new host of BBK. While the channel is yet to confirm the host, it is in talks with leading names from the industry to take charge for Bigg Boss Kannada," a reliable industry source told Filmibeat.

"Rishabh Shetty is the perfect fit for Bigg Boss Kannada. He has been approached for the show, but the two sides have not locked a deal as of now," the khabri added.

"Rishabh Shetty has not been finalised for Bigg Boss Kannada 2025. The channel and the production house will make an official announcement at the right time. They are currently focusing on their new weekend show which will go on air from June 14," the source said.
