Bank Janardhan was a veteran Kannada actor who died at the age of 76. As per the Udayavani's report, the comedian's death was confirmed on Sunday. He had his last breath at around 2.30 am at Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru, Karanataka. According to the reports, Bank Janardhan was suffering from an age-related ailment. He was admitted to the hospital a few days ago by his family members.

Late Kannada actor Bank Janardhan's mortal remains will reportedly be kept at his home in Sultanpalya, Bengaluru for public homage that will take place on Monday from 10 am.

Who Is Bank Janardhan?

Bank Janardhan was a well-known actor in the Kannada industry for his comedy and drama roles. He has done some notable works in movies like News, Shhh! and Tharle Nan Maga. Not much is known about Bank Janardhan's wife and children.

Santosh Sharanagouda Biradar took to X to pay tribute to Bank Janardhan, tweeting, "Your acting and comedy in those Kannada films of our childhood were always unforgettable. May your soul rest in peace (sic)."

He was previously unwell in the year 2023. Janardhan suffered a heart attack, and ever since then, his health has been deteriorating.
