Mark Box Office Collection Day 6: Kichcha Sudeep's Action Thriller Sees Notable Drop After Opening Surge
Mark Box Office Collection: The Kannada action thriller Mark, directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa and led by Kichcha Sudeep, has completed six days in theaters and moves into Day 7 today with mixed momentum. Released on December 25, the film opened strongly but saw significant fluctuations over the course of its first week at the domestic box office.

According to estimates from box office tracker Sacnilk, Mark has collected approximately ₹20.45 crore India net in its first six days across all languages. The film had a robust opening on Thursday, earning ₹8.6 crore, driven primarily by its Kannada version. However, the collections dropped sharply on Friday to ₹3.2 crore, reflecting a decline of over 60 percent from the debut day.
The weekend offered stability rather than growth. Saturday's earnings remained steady at ₹3.2 crore, showing no change from Friday's numbers. Sunday witnessed a slight uptick, contributing ₹3.4 crore, but the overall weekend trend remained modest compared to its strong start.
Mark experienced a further dip as it entered the weekday phase. Monday's estimated collection stood at ₹1.15 crore, marking another steep fall, followed by ₹0.9 crore on Tuesday. These weekday figures underline the film's slowing trajectory after its initial surge. Despite this, the film has managed to cross the ₹20 crore mark within six days, setting a baseline for its performance in the upcoming days.
Breakdown of 6-Day Box Office (India Net)
Day 1 (Thursday): ₹8.6 Cr
Day 2 (Friday): ₹3.2 Cr
Day 3 (Saturday): ₹3.2 Cr
Day 4 (Sunday): ₹3.4 Cr
Day 5 (Monday): ₹1.15 Cr
Day 6 (Tuesday): ₹0.9 Cr
Total: ₹20.45 Cr
Mark tells the story of Ajay Markandaya, a suspended police officer who confronts criminal networks, political corruption, and rising lawlessness. When a major crisis unfolds, he steps back into action, taking on entrenched powers to restore order and protect the public. The narrative blends action and drama, positioning the protagonist against a network of antagonists across the political and criminal spectrum.
The film brings together a wide technical team, with cinematography handled by Shekar and music composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. Produced under the banners of Sathya Jyothi Films and Kichcha Creatiions, the project is backed by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan.
As Mark enters Day 7 today, the New Year's Eve frame may offer some additional footfall, although the weekday trend suggests a cautious outlook. The film's performance over the next two days will shape its overall first-week total and indicate its hold heading into the second weekend.
