Nimitta Matra Now Streaming On OTT: Nimitta Matra, the Kannada-language psychological thriller that debuted in theaters on February 14, 2025, has now made its way to the digital space. The film began streaming on Sun NXT on May 30, offering audiences a chance to revisit or catch the film for the first time from their homes.

Marketed as Kannada's first parapsychological thriller, Nimitta Matra explores themes that intersect the realms of psychology and the paranormal. Directed and edited by Roshan D'Souza, the film unfolds against the backdrop of Mangaluru, where a 15-year-old unsolved case resurfaces, drawing a determined investigative journalist into its orbit.

The central character, Vikram, portrayed by Poornachandra Mysore, sets out on a journey to investigate the decades-old incident not merely as a professional obligation but as a personal mission to uphold his late father's legacy. As layers of the mystery begin to peel away, the narrative poses complex questions about truth, justice, and the boundaries of the known and unknown.

Sangeetha Rajeev, who plays a significant role in the film, has also contributed to its music direction and vocals. The cast further includes Aravind Kuplikar, Baby Saanghavi, Nikhil Parthasarathy, Nitesh Nittur, Abhilash Narayan, Lakshmi Karanth, Adarsh Rangayana, and several others, rounding out a diverse ensemble.
