Days after lifting the BBK 12 trophy, Gilli visited actors Shiva Rajkumar and Sudeep in Bengaluru to personally seek their blessings.

According to a report by TV9 Kannada, the meetings took place after Gilli returned to the city from his hometown, where he had earlier participated in a celebratory rally organized by supporters. The interactions were described as personal and informal, with Gilli acknowledging the role both senior actors have played in shaping his journey in the entertainment industry.

Gilli's association with Shiva Rajkumar predates Bigg Boss Kannada. He had earlier appeared as a contestant on Dance Karnataka Dance, where Shiva Rajkumar served as one of the judges. During the show, Gilli's performances reportedly caught the senior actor's attention. While Gilli was still inside the Bigg Boss house, Shiva Rajkumar had publicly expressed confidence in his prospects, predicting that Gilli would emerge as the winner. Gilli reportedly became aware of these comments only after the finale, following which he met Shiva Rajkumar and his wife, Geeta, to personally express his gratitude.

Gilli meets host Sudeep after the finale

The Bigg Boss Kannada 12 winner also met host Sudeep after the conclusion of the season. During the course of the reality show, contestants have limited scope for open and detailed conversations with the host due to the format of the program. According to TV9 Kannada, this may have been one of the reasons Gilli chose to meet Sudeep personally after exiting the Bigg Boss house.

The meeting took place against the backdrop of some of Gilli Nata's fans earlier expressing dissatisfaction over the "Kicchana Chappale" segment, a special appreciation presented by the host during the season. TV9 Kannada further reported that it was being speculated that Gilli may have apologized to Sudeep on behalf of his fans during the meeting.
