Mother Promise Early Review: The makers of Mother Promise are gearing up for the theatrical release of the Kannada gangster comedy on July 10, 2026. Ahead of its arrival in cinemas, an early reaction shared by overseas distributor Dream Screens International Pty Ltd has drawn attention on social media.

In a post published on X on June 28, the overseas Indian film distribution company said it had watched the film's censored version and expressed a highly positive response. According to the post, the company described Mother Promise as an entertaining comedy packed with humour and said it delivers a "roller-coaster laughter ride" from beginning to end.
Dream Screens International Pty Ltd also referred to the film as a blend of comedy, fun and entertainment, calling it a "promising attempt" from the team behind the project. The distributor further predicted that the film would be well received by audiences and encouraged moviegoers to watch it when it releases in theatres on July 10. These remarks reflect the distributor's personal impressions shared publicly on social media and are not independent reviews.

Mother Promise is directed by Poornachandra Mysore and produced by Harsha Murundi Shivalingappa and Dhananjaya Kalenahalli Adaviswamy under the Daali Pictures banner. The screenplay has been written by Poornachandra Mysore, Mahadev Prasad and Arun Bharamannavar.
The film is set in a fictional version of Bengaluru and revolves around a gambler whose fortunes take a dramatic turn after he loses everything. As he attempts to escape his troubles, he finds himself pursued by two influential dons, smugglers and an assortment of eccentric characters. Adding to the chaos is his own mother, who also joins the chase. The story unfolds as a comedy driven by misunderstandings, unexpected encounters and the central theme of a promise that carries significance even among hardened gangsters.
The technical crew features Rahul Roy as the director of photography, Navaneeth Sham as the music composer and Pradeep Rao as the editor. Subbu Hunsur has handled the film's production design, while the costume department includes Zoha Kabir, Khushi Jagadisha, Inchara Suresh and Dayanand R. Shashank Soghal serves as the creative producer, with Yadunandan as executive producer.
The action sequences have been choreographed by Yogananda D C, while Bhushan has handled choreography.
