Shubha Poonja Divorce: Actress & Husband Sumanth Billava Reportedly File For Divorce Four Years After Marriage

Shubha Poonja Divorce: Kannada actress Shubha Poonja has reportedly approached a family court seeking a divorce from her husband, businessman Sumanth Billava, nearly four years after their marriage. According to a report published by Asianet News Kannada, the couple has filed a petition for divorce by mutual consent.

Neither Shubha nor Sumanth has publicly confirmed the development through an official statement. However, the report states that legal proceedings have already been initiated before a family court. The reasons behind the reported divorce petition have not been disclosed.

Shubha and Sumanth got married in January 2022 in the presence of family members and close associates. Following their marriage, Shubha appeared alongside her husband on reality television shows.

According to the Asianet News Kannada report, Shubha Poonja declined to comment on the matter, while Sumanth Billava reportedly did not disclose the reasons behind the divorce petition. The report further stated that both may be required to appear before the court as part of the proceedings.

Shubha Poonja's Film and Television Career

Shubha Poonja is a familiar name in the Kannada film industry and has been active in cinema for nearly two decades. She began her acting career after working as a model and made her Kannada film debut with Jackpot in 2006. Over the years, she appeared in several Kannada films, including Chanda, Moggina Manasu, Slum Bala, Anjadiru, Thaakath, Preethi Hangama, Kanteerava, Naanalla, Golmaal, Parari, Jai Maruthi 800, Googal and Raja Loves Radhe.

One of the notable milestones in her career came with Moggina Manasu, where her performance earned her recognition and helped establish her presence in the industry. In addition to films, she has also appeared on television and reality shows, expanding her visibility among Kannada audiences.
