On June 21, the actor shared a fresh poster from the project on social media and confirmed that the movie will arrive in cinemas worldwide on August 26, 2026.

Accompanying the poster, Yash wrote, "Honour Thy Father... #Toxic In Cinemas Worldwide from 26-08-2026," putting an end to speculation surrounding the film's theatrical launch. The announcement quickly drew attention from fans who had been waiting for an update on the project's release plans.

The newly released poster features a striking red-and-black visual design, showcasing Yash's character Raya in the foreground, while a younger version of the actor's other character, Ticket, appears in the background. Released on Father's Day, the poster carries the tagline "Honour Thy Father" and highlights the apparent connection between the two characters. The artwork also prominently features the film's subtitle, A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is described as a period gangster drama. The film marks one of the most ambitious projects in Yash's career following the massive success of the KGF franchise.
