The couple was also reported to have been received at Agartala airport by state representatives, visited the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple, and later attended a wedding reception at a hotel in Agartala.

Biplab Kumar Deb is a senior BJP leader from Tripura who has served in several major political roles. He was the state's chief minister from 2018 to 2022 and is currently a member of Parliament.
