Kallarali
Hoovaagi
produced
by
Madhu
Bangarappa
and
directed
by
award
winning
director
T.S.Nagabharana
is
an
outstanding
effort
by
a
team
of
dedicated,
talented
and
committed
artists
and
technicians
to
make
a
land
mark
film.
This
film
has
set
its
own
standard
as
a
competent
film
which
will
be
thoroughly
discussed
for
many
days
to
come.
The
film
shows
evidence
of
a
deep
commitment
to
the
cause
of
good
cinema,
an
intense
hard
work
and
superb
craftsmanship
of
highly
talented
technicians
like
Hamsalekha
and
Cameraman
Venu.
Totally
you
will
feel
proud
of
the
quality
of
the
people
associated
with
this
film.
Kallarali
Hoovaagi
is
based
on
a
historical
fiction
story
written
by
B.L.
Venu
who
has
also
provided
the
dialogues
for
the
film.
With
this
raw
material
on
his
hand,
director
Nagabharana
has
created
a
wonderful
and
blemishes
free
script
with
good
commercial
ingredients
which
do
not
go
beyond
the
logic
and
authenticity
of
the
story.
Lyric
writer
and
music
composer
Hamsalekha
has
added
some
more
strength
to
the
film
with
his
innovative
and
folklore
based
writing
and
compositions
which
are
of
a
very
high
standard.
Then
the
innovative
camera
angles
and
source
lighting
crisp
shots
of
Venu
has
added
some
colour
to
the
whole
film.
The
authentic
ambience
of
the
film
is
due
to
the
efforts
of
designing
and
art
work
done
by
Ms.
Nagini
Bharana
and
her
team.
Overall
Nagabharana's
handling
of
a
very
sensitive
and
live
wire
subject
that
has
to
be
commended
as
he
has
concentrated
on
the
love
element
without
giving
undue
prominence
to
other
factors.
And
the
element
of
loyalty
and
patriotic
fervor
that
is
in
the
film
is
also
inspiring.
Kallarali
Hoovaagi
is
a
well
performed
film.
Vijaya
Raghavendra
once
again
proves
that
he
is
the
best
of
the
lot
among
our
younger
actors.
He
will
certainly
prove
that
he
will
be
an
actor
and
not
a
star.
Umashankari
has
delivered
an
outstanding
performance
in
her
last
film.
It
is
sad
to
hear
that
this
talented
actress
has
announced
her
retirement
from
films.
It
is
better
to
say
that
even
veteran
actors
like
Ambareesh,
Anant
Nag,
Bharathi
Vishnuvardhan,
Devaraj
have
just
played
their
characters
without
any
pressures
of
their
screen
image.
The
caption
of
Kallarali
Hoovaagi
says
that
it
is
a
visual
poetry
of
the
native
folk
talents.
It
is
certainly
not
an
empty
boast.
Madhu
Bangarappa,
Nagabharana
and
Hamsalekha
have
to
be
thanked
profusely
for
this
real
classic.
