Venkata In Sankata - Preview

Actor-director Ramesh Aravind appears as a police constable in his fourth directorial venture Venkata In Sankata. Ramesh Aravind's previous film Accident earned decent collections from the box office; his earlier ventures (Rama Shama Bhama and Satyavan Savitri) were super hits. Known as an intelligent director, Ramesh's films have the right mix of comedy and emotional elements.

With Venkata In Sankata, Ramesh comes up with a hilarious comedy which will make audiences laugh their hearts out. The film revolves around a police constable who dreams of becoming a Commissioner one day. But all his efforts to get promoted fail due to his domestic troubles. Venkta has not one, but two demanding wives and is always entangled in his family matters.

Venkata's best friend is another constable and the two always move around together. The friend who does not have Venkata's problems is a hardworking cop and is also trying to get promoted. The story takes a twist when Venkata starts doubting that his friend will be promoted before him. The film then takes the comedy route when jealous Venkata tries to stop his friend from getting promoted. How Venkta tries to achieve his dream of becoming a Commissioner forms the rest of this hilarious plot.

Sharmila Mandre, the current sensation in Sandalwood, is the lady lead. P.K.H. Das is the cameraman and Rickey Kei, who has scored some beautiful tunes for Accident, has been roped in for Venkata In Sankata's music direction. The shooting of this film, produced by Bangalore-based Production Company Sinema House, has started recently in Bangalore.
