Finally
at
end
of
the
year,
here
comes
a
Kannada
movie
for
the
people
those
who
are
fed
up
with
the
same
love
stories,
rowdyism
movies
and
remakes.
Journalist-turned-screenplay
writer
Agni
Shridhar,
who
has
earlier
written
stories
for
two
films
based
on
real
life
rowdy
elements,
has
now
taken
a
diversion
from
the
general
trend
and
penned
a
brand
new
story
for
the
film
Kallara
Santhe
(Kallara
Sante).
The
movie
Kallara
Santhe
is
a
love
story
with
the
backdrop
story
of
Vidhana
Soudha.
It
is
a
sharp
satire
on
corruption
in
public
life.
The
highlighters
of
the
movie
are
Yash's
performance,
Agni
Shridhar's
story
and
dialogues,
V
Manohar's
music.
The
movie
has
comic
scenes
too.
Director
Sumana
Kittur
has
given
a
comical
twist
to
the
political
satire.
The
movie
highlights
the
truth
about
the
existing
politics
and
police.
She
has
used
the
hero
as
a
sharp
tool
(narrator)
to
criticise
lots
of
things
that
are
happening
in
present
world.
She
has
blended
the
serious
subject
with
humour
that
makes
the
movie
an
entertaining
watch.
Yash
has
played
a
gold
medalist,
who
goes
through
at
least
six
different
professions
before
destiny
decides
to
take
him
in
a
totally
new
direction.
The
first
half
of
the
movie
deals
with
the
romance
of
youth
Somu
and
his
struggle
for
existence.
The
second
half
exposes
the
nexus
between
politicians
and
their
chamchas,
which
seems
little
bit
dragging.
Somu
(Yash)
is
a
disciplined
youth
with
a
post
graduation
in
Kannada.
He
falls
in
love
with
Roopa
(Haripriya).
To
lead
an
honest
life,
he
works
as
a
lecturer,
reporter,
auto
driver,
canteen
owner.
And
finally
he
becomes
a
thief.
When
he
is
caught
by
the
police,
he
threatens
to
jump
from
the
building
and
end
his
life.
He
puts
six
demands
before
CM
(Rangayan
Raghu)
to
get
down
from
the
building.
What
are
his
demands?
And
will
CM
fulfill
them?
These
things
will
form
the
climax
of
the
movie.
As
a
determined
youth
Somu,
Yash
has
delivered
excellent
performance.
He
suits
his
role
very
much.
Even
Haripriya
acted
well
as
his
lover.
Moreover,
their
on-screen
chemistry
is
really
good.
As
usual,
Rangayan
Raghu,
Kishor,
Shobharaj,
Sudha
Belavadi
have
done
justice
to
their
respective
roles.
V
Manohar's
music
is
another
highlight
of
the
movie.
Especially,
his
background
score
is
very
refreshing.
A
couple
of
songs
impress
the
audiences.
Agni
Shridhar's
dialogues
rock
the
viewers.
Sundarnath
Suvarna's
camera
work
is
also
good.
Director
Sumana
Kittur's
movie
Kallara
Santhe
is
a
good
experimental
show
with
a
few
loop
wholes.
Please
do
not
miss
the
show.
