Anjadiru Review

One more movie is added to the list of the movies that glorify violence. Janardhan directed movie Anjadiru is all about the underworld activities. After long time, comedian Dwarkish has appeared on the screen in a totally different role. This time, he is in villain's get up.

Orata Prashanth is the first hero and producer Krishne Gowda's son Muralidhar is the second hero. Actress Shubha Poonja is in the female lead. Dwarakish, Krishne Gowda, Adilokesh, Shrinivas Murthy, Ravikale, Avinash, Suman Ranganath, Padmajarao and BV Rajaram are in the other star cast.

It is said that the movie Anjadiru is a remake of Tamil movie Anjira, but the producer and the directors have slammed the claims saying that it is their original movie. The movie highlights the friendship relationship. And it also focuses on underworld activities. The story of the movie is narrated in a excellent way.

Sathya (Prashanth) and Krupa (Muralidhar) are sons of two police. They are very close friends who are staying in the Police colony. They aspire to become PSI. Krupa is an innocent boy, who studies well and scores a rank in the entrance exam, whereas Sathya is a naughty boy, who takes over his seat with the help of some influential candidate. Disappointed Krupa is misguided by underworld dons and becomes a thief, which leads him to tragic death.

The movie focuses more on violent scenes like fights and murders rather than showing love and romance between hero and heroine. It is more concerned about underworld than to sentiments. The director has got good grip on the story. Neither he has preferred love and romance nor he has given more focus to violence. He has tried to bring liveliness in the story. He has maintained the same speed in the narration of the story.

Though Murulidhara is a debutant, he has given a wonderful performance. All other actors have also done there best.

Surendar Babu's music plays a magic in the movie. It creates more interest in the audiences than any other character in the movie. His background music stuns the audiences. Sundarnath's camera work also lures the audiences.

It can be said that the story of the movie is the real hero and it must be watched once.
