Rocky
is
a
triangular
love
story
with
good
action,
music
and
excellent
acting
from
the
lead
pair.
This
is
the
second
film
of
director
Nagendra
Urs
and
Yash,
whose
earlier
film
was
Moggina
Manasu
which
was
female
oriented
with
four
heroines.
Rocky
(Yash)
is
the
unspoilt
and
studious
son
of
busy
parents,
the
top
rank
holder
in
college.
But
there
is
one
thing
that
he
is
not
able
to
achieve
even
after
trying
many
times:
the
love
of
his
college
mate
Usha
(Biyaanka).
Bowled
over
by
her
beauty,
Rocky
repeatedly
tries
to
impress
her
but
fails
every
time.
To
his
horror,
he
realizes
that
Usha
is
attracted
to
Vishwas,
a
guitarist.
But
Vishwas
is
unaware
of
Usha's
love
for
him.
So
Rocky
devises
a
plan
to
make
Usha
realize
that
Vishwas
does
not
love
her.
He
brings
Usha
and
Vishwas
together,
but
the
situation
goes
out
of
hand
when
Vishwas
really
starts
loving
her.
The
rest
of
the
film
tells
how
Rocky
devises
new
plans
to
reclaim
Usha
and
the
twists
and
turns
in
the
story
makes
it
interesting
to
watch.
Sandalwood
has
earned
another
handsome
hero
in
Yash.
He
can
emote,
dance
and
fight
well,
proving
he
can
very
well
carry
a
film
on
his
shoulders.
Beautiful
Biyaanka
Desai
has
done
full
justice
to
her
role.
Jai
Jagdish,
Padmaja
Rao,
M.N.
Lakshmi
Devi,
Sanketh
Kashi
and
Sharat
Lohitashva
have
rendered
good
support
to
the
lead
pair.
Director
Nagendra
Urs
has
handled
the
story
well
and
does
not
disappoint.
Music
director
duo
Venkat-Narayan
have
scored
some
racy
and
melodious
tunes
and
debutant
cinematographer
Sudhakar
has
displayed
his
competance.
A
campus
love
story,
Rocky
targets
young
audiences
and
has
the
right
elements
to
entertain
them.
