Director
Nuthan
Umesh's
debut
venture
Krishnan
Marriage
Story
has
been
promoted
as
a
sequel
to
the
hit
movie
Krishnan
Love
Story,
but
it
is
not
a
sequel.
Altogether
it
has
a
different
story
and
Umesh
has
nicely
mixed
the
joint
family
story
with
humour,
fun
and
sentiments.
His
effort
could
have
been
even
more
impressive
if
he
had
done
little
bit
of
home
work
on
the
script.
Krishnan
Marriage
Story
is
romantic-comedy
film
with
all
necessary
commercial
ingredients.
Ajay
Rao's
acting
and
Nidhi
Subbaiah's
glamourous
performance
are
the
major
highlight
of
the
movie.
Sridhar
Sambhram's
fantastic
music,
Shekhar
Chandra's
superb
camera
work,
Manju
Mandavya's
dialogues,
good
choreography,
beautiful
locations
and
costumes
are
the
other
attractions
of
the
film.
The
movie
neatly
presents
and
promotes
the
family
values
in
increasingly
cynical
society.
The
first
half
of
the
film
has
some
of
the
strong
and
refreshing
scenes
and
it
is
quite
entertaining.
But
the
story
becomes
predictable
and
formulaic
in
the
second
half,
which
is
a
cocktail
of
many
sequences
taken
from
many
successful
films.
The
climax
has
been
shot
well.
Krishna
is
an
ad
film
producer,
who
stays
in
a
joint
family.
He
is
everybody's
favourite
in
the
family.
Once
he
visits
his
grandmother's
place,
where
he
meets
beautiful
girl
Khushi,
who
is
a
software
engineer
and
has
returned
to
her
village
for
rest.
He
falls
in
love
with
her
and
eventually
ties
the
knot
with
her.
But
the
story
takes
different
twist
when
Krishna's
family
learns
that
Khushi
will
not
live
long.
What
happens
next
would
be
very
interesting
to
watch
onscreen.
Ajay
Rao
has
given
wonderful
performance
as
Krishna
and
he
has
shown
his
prowess
in
dance,
fight
and
sentimental
sequences.
Nidhi
has
a
tailor-made
role
and
she
looks
very
glamorous
and
stunning.
She
has
delivered
excellent
acting
in
the
climax
part.
Jai
Jagadish,
Vinaya
Prasad,
Nagendra
Shah,
Balaraj
and
Sangeeta
have
also
done
justice
to
their
respective
roles.
In
the
technical
front,
Sridhar
Sambhram's
music
is
the
main
attraction.
He
has
composed
fantastic
tunes
for
the
songs
of
Krishnan
Marriage
Story.
And
his
background
score
is
also
commendable.
The
choreography
in
the
songs
'Parijatha...'
and
'Nidde
Bandhilla...'
is
equally
good
quality.
Shekhar
Chandru's
camera
work
is
excellent
and
he
has
captured
some
of
the
best
scenes.
Manju
Mandavya's
dialogues,
beautiful
locations
and
costumes
are
the
other
plus
points
of
the
movie.
Overall,
Nuthan
Umesh
has
done
a
wonderful
job
in
the
movie
Krishnan
Marriage
Story,
which
is
a
good
family
entertainer.
