After
the
movie
Shri
Harikathe,
director
Dayal
Padmanabhan
has
made
his
comeback
through
the
film
Yogaraj...
But,
which
is
a
satirical
and
surrealistic
film.
It
is
good
entertainer
with
a
message.
It
could
have
been
even
better
watch
if
the
director
had
done
little
more
homework
on
the
second
half
of
the
film.
Movie
Yogaraj...
But
is
a
romantic
comedy
and
Naveen
Krishna's
excellent
performance
is
the
major
attraction
of
the
film.
Milind
Dharmasena"s
music,
Gautam
Srivatsa"s
background
score,
Rakesh"s
camera
work
and
beautiful
locations
are
the
other
highlights
of
the
flick.
The
only
drawback
of
the
film
is
that
the
director
goes
on
complicating
things
in
second
half,
which
may
not
clearly
convey
his
intended
massage.
Dayal
Padmanabhan
has
chosen
a
wonderful
story
for
Yogaraj...
But
and
he
has
mixed
it
with
comedy
and
philosophy,
which
definitely
provoke
the
viewers
to
think
about
the
ways
of
life.
The
director's
narration
of
the
story
is
simpler,
but
yet
it
is
complicated
in
few
places.
The
first
half
of
the
film
is
fully
entertaining
with
lot
of
comedy
and
the
second
half
deals
with
some
serious
issues
along
with
the
comic
narration.
Yograj
(Naveen
Krishna)
is
a
graduate
in
psychology,
but
he
chooses
astrology
for
livelihood.
He
meets
an
orphan
girl
named
Sihi
just
before
she
is
scheduled
to
go
abroad
for
an
administrative
training
programme.
He
falls
in
love
with
her
and
proposes
her.
He
is
killed
in
an
accident
when
he
is
about
to
hear
the
news
of
her
acceptance.
What
happens
next
will
form
the
crux
of
the
story.
Naveen
Krishna
is
the
showman
of
the
film.
He
wins
the
heart
of
viewers
with
his
voice
modulations,
expressions
and
effortless
dialogue
delivery.
As
Sihi,
Neetu
has
done
a
fantastic
job.
Other
actors
like
Sihi
Kahi
Chandru,
Srinivasamurthy,
Tarun
Sudhir,
Suchayeendra
Prasad
and
Amrutha
have
also
lived
upto
their
roles.
In
technical
front,
Milind
Dharmasena
composed
songs
are
the
major
highlight.
Gautam
Srivatsa"s
background
score
also
makes
a
strong
impact
on
the
audience.
Rakesh"s
cinematography
is
good
especially
in
song
sequences.
Overall,
Yogaraj...
But
is
a
wonderful
movie
and
one
must
encourage
the
efforts
of
Dayal
Padmanabhan
and
Naveen
Krishna
by
watching
it.
