Everybody
has
a
past!
Our
past
at
times
determines
the
person
we
have
become
today.
However,
we
need
not
be
the
same
person
as
our
past
reflects.
Fair
and
Lovely
is
an
honest
attempt
by
the
director
Raghuram
to
tell
a
story
of
a
woman
with
past.

Prem
plays
a
role
of
a
quintessential
hero,
who
likes
to
keep
everyone
smiling.
Fate
takes
him
to
get
shelter
in
a
unknown
house.
By
the
time
he
realizes
that
the
house
is
actually
a
brothel,
he
gets
entrapped
inside
the
house
with
a
sex
worker
(Shwetha
Srivatsav),
due
to
a
police
raid.
That
is
when
the
real
story
begins.
The
two
share
each
other's
past
and
how
fate
led
them
to
what
they
are
today.
Prem
Kumar
and
Shwetha
Srivatsav
have
been
sincere
in
their
attempt.
Shwetha
has
shown
her
acting
prowess
again.
The
main
strength
of
the
movie
is
script.
Although
you
may
feel
that
story
seems
to
be
familiar,
the
treatment
given
to
it
shows
maturity
and
professionalism.
The
director
Raghuram
has
come
back
after
a
hiatus
of
four
years
and
does
a
good
job.
The
screenplay
hold
well
throughout
the
movie
and
does
not
let
you
down
anywhere.
The
screenplay
has
been
complemented
by
good
camera
work
and
cinematography.
The
movie
has
some
very
snappy
dialogues
between
the
lead
actors.
It
almost
reminds
us
of
Simple
Aagi
Ondu
Love
Story.
The
movie
tries
to
show
the
plight
of
sex
worker
and
attempts
to
change
the
view
point
of
society
towards
them.
The
way
the
climax
of
the
movie
has
been
constructed
deserves
full
appreciation.
There
are
several
cameo
in
the
movie.
Anu
Prabhakar,
Nakshatra
and
Vijay
Raghavendra
make
their
fleeting
appearance
in
the
story.
Fair
And
Lovely
is
a
movie
with
good
entertainment
value
and
storyline.
It
gives
a
fresh
lease
of
hope
to
the
industry
that
churns
out
remakes
on
regular
basis.
