Ninnindale - Movie Review
Ninnindale is yet another romantic movie, which will remind us Puneet Rajkumar's lover-boy image in the earlier movies - Akash, Arasu, Milana and Paramathma. Mumbai lass and Former Miss India 2012 Contestant Erica Fernandes, who is making her Sandalwood debut, is paired opposite the Power Star in the film.
As Puneet's previous movies - Yaare Koogadali, Anna Bond and Paramathma did not live up to audience expectations, there are high expectations on Ninnindale. It has made a huge buzz even before its release by creating many records in Kannada film industry. The trailers, dialogue promos and other promotional materials have added much hype and made the audience to eagerly await for the movie release.
Ninnindale can be termed as a very different and unique attempt in Kannada industry. The foreign locations, which were usually seen in songs, have been set as the main backdrop of the movie. Story
Plot deals with group of Kannada speaking friends in USA. Venkatesh aka Vicky (Puneet Rajkumar) loves adventure sports and expeditions, which will be accompanied by his three close friends Pappu (Alok Babu), Nandu (Sonia Deepti) and Basi (Vinayak Joshi). Vicky accidentally meets Prameela (Erica Fernandes), where he helps her to attend an interview, by building confidence in her. Soon, she joins the group of friends, where she will be attracted towards Vicky. She falls in love with Vicky by seeing his positive approach towards life. But Vicky has a different approach to it.
Crux Of The Story
How will Prameela covey her love to him? Will Vicky accept Prameela's proposal? Will they face any problem from their families? Answer to these form the crux of Ninnindale story that need to be enjoyed on silver screen.

Puneet Rajkumar
Puneet Rajkumar is an actor, who gets into the skin of the character. As he can create magic by sharing best on-screen chemistry with the heroines of his movies, he has repeated the same in Ninnindale with Erica.
Erica Fernandes
Erica Fernandes is impressive in her acting and looks. She also shares best chemistry with Puneet Rajkumar, which will make us to just fall in love with the pair. No doubt if she bags second offer with Puneet like Ramya and Parvathy Menon in coming days.
Comedians
Though the movie has Telugu ace comedian Brahmanandam and Sandalwood's comedy master Sadhu Kokila, there is a mere importance given to comedy. Compared to Brahmi, Sadhu is successful in making the audience laugh.
Supporting Roles
The excellent star cast in the supporting roles is the power booster for the movie. Vinayak Joshi has done a magic in the comedy part, which reminds us his combination with Puneet in Appu. Thilak Shekar's role as an US cop is flawless. Sonia Deepti, Avinash and Padma Vasanthi's performance are commendable in the movie.
Patriotic Dialogues
The movie is filled with many patriotic dialogues. Here are few sample, 'Aaa desha antha hodaaga, alli avar thara irbeku, mansu Indian aaagirbeku (Which ever country you go change your life-style according to them, but be Indian in your heart)'. 'Desha andaaga bhaaratha, rajya andre karnataka, bhaashe andre k kannada, kannadigaru bega serthaare (Best country means India, best state means Karnataka, best language means Kannada, and Kannadigas are easy going)'.
Director Jayant C Paranji
Though Ninnindale is directed by Tollywood's famous director Jayant C Paranji, the influence of Telugu movies is not seen in any corner of the movie. He has mixed Ninnindale with all the necessary ingredients, but he has not given that much importance to the story.
Verdict
Ninnindale is a packed family entertainer filled with all the necessary ingredients, expect story. It includes simple and cute love story, thrilling adventurous scenes and melodious songs. First half is good, and slow pace in the second half is the biggest drawback of the film. Overall it is one time watchable with your loved ones.
