Rangan Style - Movie Review
Prashanth, who was the former assistant for director MD Sridhar is making his directorial debut with Rangan Style, which features Sandalwood's superstar Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kiccha Sudeep in the cameo role. Pradeep is romancing Kanika Tiwari in the movie.
Rangan Style is another romantic movie with the proportionate mix of actions, comedies, sentiments and emotions. The movie deals with the story of a youth, who will be addictive to social networking site. Director Prashanth gives the strong message for the people by focusing on the adverse effect of Facebook and other micro-blogging sites by showing the lead actor as a victim.

USP Of The Movie

In his first film as a solo hero Pradeep is successful in his role. Though his earlier movies failed to get him proper identity in Sandalwood, Rangan Style will definitely give him a huge break.

Though Kanika Tiwari's performance can be rated as an average in the emotional and sentiment scenes, she is impressive as a cute college going girl.
Kiccha Sudeep
Though Kiccha Sudeep is seen only for few minutes in the movie, his role as a police officer is used to convey the strong message for the present day generation.
Comedy
Director Prashanth has given much importance for the comedy part. Comedies of Sadhu Kokila, Rekha Das and Tabla Naani is the biggest strength of the movie.
Cinematography
Camera handled by Cine Tech Soori is the biggest feast for the audience. His camera work in the songs are appreciable.

Manju Mandavya is not just successful in penning the punching dialogues, but his dialogues gives the strong message for the youth.
Music
With Rangan Style, Gurukiran is back with his style. The tracks 'Gangaman style' and 'Kapgidru parvagilla hudgirdu face' are enjoyable.
Direction
After Prashanth Neel, Sandalwood has got another promising young talent. Director Prashanth has followed his guru MD Sridhar, which is proved in the making of Rangan Style.
Negative Aspects
The movie is taken at a brisk pace in the first half, but it drastically goes down in the second part. Second half engages us by keeping the suspense till the end.
Verdict
Rangan Style, which is based on the real life incident, has been presented well on-screen. Conveys the strong and effective message for the youth. The unexpected climax will be the biggest disappointment for us. The movie is one time watchable.
