Director Jacob Verghese's debut movie Savaari, which had bike as the special attraction was all about two youth's passion towards biking. Savaari 2, which is completely different from Savaari is about Sreenivas aka Seenu's obsession towards making money. Seenu, who will be a small time thief in the film will aims to get married to rich man's daughter and get settled in life. He will be having a girlfriend (Sruthi Hariharan), who will be the daughter of Home Minister of the state.
Story
Seenu, who will be obsessed towards making money in a simple way will plan to hunt forest brigand Veerappan's money in the jungle. The huge sum, which is the biggest mystery of Karnataka is the main theme of the movie. In the course he meets Girish Karnad and Karan Rao. What happens next? Will Seenu be successful in hunting the money? Forms the crux of the story, which should be enjoyed on silver screen with lot of comedies and twists. Lot Of Twists

Along with Bollywood actor Karan Rao, Diamond Star Srinagara Kitty has done an amazing job in the film. Savaari 2 is the best Kannada debut for Karan.

Director Jacob Verghese has given least importance for the female characters in the movie. Lucia actress Shruti Hariharan and Madhurima have just filled the heroines space for the two charming lead actors.

The movie is filled with multi talented actors in the supporting roles. Girish Karnad, Mukyamantri Chandru, Sihi Kahi Chandru, Abbas, Jeeva and others have done a remarkable job in the film.
Comedians
The movie will never disappoint you, when the comedian part is filled by Sandalwood's comedy master Sadhu Kokila. Beside Sadhu, Chikanna and Om Prakash Rao will tickle your funny bones.
Music
Music by Manikanth Khadri has done wonders in the movie. Gopalkrishna Adiga's famous lines Iruvudellava Bittu (leaving what all you have) has been kept as the main theme in the film, which will be humming in our mind forever.
Director
Jacob Verghese has presented a different style of movie making in Sandalwood. He has also become a promising filmmaker in Kannada film industry by directing Savaari 2, which cannot be even compared to his old movies.
Verdict
Basking in the success of Savaari and Prithvi, director Jacob Verghese is all set to add another hit to his kitty with Savaari 2. The film will never disappoint you. Another movie for Kannada audience to get bowled over after Gajakesari.
