Ugramm has already caught the attention of the cine-goers with its theatrical trailer, which was released few months back. The promotional materials of the movie promises the never seen movie in Kannada. In a way director Prashanth Neel can be called as successful debutant with this film. Ugramm is also special for few other reasons. The two multi-talented actors of Kannada, Srimurali and Chikkabalapur Girl Haripriya are making their comeback on Kannada screen with the movie.

Both Srimurali and Haripriya are awaiting for the huge break in Sandalwood after Sriharikathe and Kallara Santhe, respectively. Ugramm can also be termed as the perfect comeback for the duo as it is a mixture of love, fear, violence, bravery. Srimurali is seen as an angry young man, which will reminds us about his role in his earlier movie Shambu.

The film opens with entry of Haripriya, who comes back to her native in India from Australia to visit her mother's grave. She will be attacked by the group of rogues, and will be saved by Agasthya (Srimurali).
