Ulidavaru Kandanthe - Movie Review: Suspense, Confusion Continues
The main USP of the movie was the maker's previous offering Simple Aag Ond Love Story, which was released last year. As it was clearly seen in the trailer, Ulidavaru Kandanthe is set in the backdrop of coastal area of Karnataka. The plot deals with the life of the people, who live in the sea shore by making fishing as their main occupation.

Ulidvaru Kandanthe deals with five different stories and all the stories will be interconnected in the end of the movie.

Rakshith Shetty
Rakshith Shetty, who plays the role of a local goon and a gangster as Richard Antony aka Richi, is impressive. He is rocking in his style of dialogue delivery and Mangalore Kannada accent.
Rishabh Shetty
Debutant Rishab Shetty, who plays Richi's childhood friend role as Raghu, has done wonderful job.
Kishore
Kishore is an actor, who gets into the skin of the character. His role as Munna aka Pranayaraja and Mandya Kannada accent amidst Mangalore Kannada is impressive.
Sheetal Shetty
Though Sheetal Shetty is a news reader by profession, she seems to be influenced by our Sandalwood Queen Ramya in acting. Her style, body language and facial expressions will surely reminds us of Ramya.
Tara
Yesteryear actress Tara is an artist, who just rocks in every role she gets. Her role as Raghu's mother is heart touching.
Yagna Shetty
Surprisingly, Yagna Shetty's role as Sharada is given least importance in the script. She plays love interest for Munna in the movie.
Supporting Roles
Dinesh Mangalore, Achyuth Kumar and others are seen in the supporting roles of the film, who are commendable in their roles.
Music
Music by Ajaneesh Loknath has beefed up in Ulidavaru Kandanthe's excellent presentation. As people have already enjoyed the songs, there is still the thrilling background score in the film, which will be humming in your mind.
Cinematography
Karam Chawla's work in the cinematography should be appreciated. Ulidavaru Kandanthe will take you to a completely different world, where the credit goes to Chawla.
Direction
Sandalwood has got another promising director. Rakshith Shetty, who was already successful as an actor, is the winner as a director with Ulidavaru Kandanthe.
Drawbacks
Usage of Mangalore Kannada in the script could be the main drawback for the film as it will not be appealing to the Urban audience. Too much twists in the story is little confusing which also distracts audience from the movie.
Verdict
Ulidavaru Kandanthe (as seen by others) will depends on how we see the movie (subjective opinion), but it is not just one time watchable. The suspense and confusions will continues till the end. The movie is biggest feast for Kannada audience for Ugadi festival.
