Rudratandava has been released today, Feb 27. It is the official remake of Tamil hit movie Pandiya Naadu starring Vishal and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. Impressed by the script and the box office success, the movie was remade in Kannada according to the nativity of Kannada audience.

Guru Deshpande, who earlier made Raja Huli has said the action cut to Rudratandava. The movie has already received mixed response from both critics and audience. Story:

Rudratandava is a father-son revenge story. The story is all about a very honest and humble guy(Chiranjeevi Sarja) who takes revenge on a mafia don(Ravishankar). Ravi Shankar kills Chiru's brother(Kumar Govind), a government official. His brother's murder will completely change Chiru's life. The twist in the tale is about how, Chriu and his father(Girish Karnad) take revenge on Ravishankar.

Cast Performance:

Chiranjeevi Sarja is the main highlight of the movie. The actor is best at his performance. Talking about the sizzling beauty Radhika Kumarswamy, the actress will impress every watcher. And, Ravishankar who plays the antagonist role in the movie has given an electrifying performance.

TV fame Krishna is best as a supporting character. Chikanna's comedy goes well with the script. Last, but not the least Kumar Govind and Girish Karnad's acting are commendable.

Music:

Rudratandava's music album composed by Sandalwood magicial musician V Harikrishna is completely apt for the script of the movie.

Technical Aspects:

There cannot be any negative comments when the movie is directed by Guru Deshpande. The director is successful in changing the script and portraying it well according to the taste of Kannada audience. Screenplay and camera work for the movie is apt.

Verdict:

Guru Deshpande has succesfully in remade Rudratandava by changing the script according to the taste of Kannada audience. Watch it for heart melting performance of Chiranjeevi Sarja and Girish Karnad as father and son.
