Ever since the song involving Tilak Shekar and Meghana Raj was out on the social media, Iruvudellava Bittu has been the talk of the town for this seductive song. But the makers of the movie claim that the movie is beyond the song in terms of the offering. The movie runs on a modern-day relationship in a conventional pattern of storytelling which doesn't provision a room for a typical antagonist.

The story of Iruvudellava Bittu revolves around Purvi (Meghana Raj) who is ambitious and works towards her goals religiously in order to achieve them. She is an intelligent girl who is brought up in a sophisticated environment, who gets separated from her typical lifestyle, friends and relatives as she feels that live-in relationship with her partner is the need of the hour. Dev (Tilak Shekar) plays the love interest of Purvi who feels that an institution called marriage alone can't just bring in sacredness into the relationship. Self-inflated ego & smugness create flickers between Purvi & Dev who get separated during her pregnancy period.

While things go haywire, Akash (Shri Mahadev) saves her from a road havoc, which takes away Akash's life. Purvi decides to lead Akash's lifestyle as she owes her life to him.

Will the difference of ideologies between Purvi and Dev be buried? Will the lead pair unite eventually? Will Purvi's sacrifices be worth it? All these form the rest of the plot.

Iruvudellava Bittu Review: A Laudable Attempt That Has Its Share Of Great Moments & Flaws

Both Tilak Shekar and Meghana Raj have performed exceptionally well in their roles. They make a great on-screen pair and look macho and beautiful, respectively. Meghana Raj is an underrated actress and we hope she earns more content-oriented opportunities in the future. Shri Mahadev has made his debut on the silver screen from the small screen, who creates quite an impact. Achyuth Kumar is at his usual best while roaring star Sri Murali's voice-over adds a star attraction.

Director Kantharaj Kannalli has chosen an interesting plot which is not a typical run-of-a-mill subject. His treatment and subtlety assures of a good technician in him. The screenplay could have been more gripping and solid. Considering his experience in the industry, this could be taken in the stride. William David excels as the director of photography who had already carved a niche with his precise work in Rangitaranga.

Sridhar V Sambhram's music is the major attraction of the overall package. Tamil Star Simbu crooning for Kuniri Thakatha song adds glamour to Iruvudellava Bittu, which can pull in some Tamil audience into theatres as well.

The film has its own share of pluses and minuses and Iruvudellava Bittu is indeed a good attempt, which deserves praises. At the end of the day, the movie ends up on the positive side of the scale which calls for support from the audience.
