Agent Kim Reactivated follows the story of an ordinary man whose quiet life hides a dangerous past. Mr. Kim (So Ji-sub) appears to be a simple office employee trying to raise his teenage daughter, Kim Min-ji (Seo Su-min), on his own after losing his wife several years ago. While he prefers staying away from trouble and avoiding conflicts, his fearless daughter has a completely different personality.

Min-ji refuses to stay silent when she witnesses bullying and often stands up for herself, even if it lands her in trouble. After she gets into a fight with a group of bullies at school, Mr. Kim apologises to the principal on her behalf. However, Min-ji believes she did the right thing and leaves in anger.

The situation takes a shocking turn when Min-ji fails to return home. As Mr. Kim begins searching for her, he uncovers clues suggesting that she has been kidnapped. With no other option left, he reveals the secret he has kept hidden for years.

Far from being an ordinary office worker, Mr. Kim is actually a former elite black-ops agent. Forced to return to the dangerous world he once left behind, he resumes his old identity as Agent Kim and launches a high-stakes mission to rescue his daughter before it's too late.

Based on a popular webtoon, Agent Kim Reactivated is directed by Yi Seung-young (Wonderful World) and Lee So-eun, while the screenplay has been penned by Nam Dae-joong (Love Reset).
