BTS J-Hope Donates 100M Won For Plane Crash Victims

BTS J-hope aka Jung Ho-Seok, who is always known for his generous nature, has been making headlines yet again for donating a whopping amount for the plane crash victims. Not only that, but the BTS singer has also released a statement regarding the same. The report has been confirmed by the The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association that the singer has indeed given a large sum of money for the victims.

BTS J-Hope Donates 100M Won For Plane Crash Victims

According to the reports, the singer has donated Rs. 100 million won which is roughly $68,000 for the victims of Jeju Air Flight Crash that happened at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province. After donating the money, J-Hope reportedly stated, "Upon hearing about the accident, I decided to make this donation to offer even a small measure of support to the bereaved families. I extend my deepest condolences and sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy."

Well, this is not the first time that the K-pop singer donated a huge amount, earlier too, as a member of the Hope Bridge Honor Club, the Korean singer has contributed during any national disasters. In 2023, the singer has reportedly donated 100M won for flood relief in 2023.

What Happened In Jeju Air Flight?

On December 29, the Jeju Air flight 7C2216 crashed during emergency landing at Muan International Airport bursting into flames after hitting a wall. The disaster claimed the lives of 179 people onboard, however, two crew members survived. After the report surfaced, South Korea government has declared national mourning period.
