Later, the BTS singer revealed that he had deactivated his Instagram account and deleted the app entirely from his mobile. But why?
After a string of speculations by the BTS ARMYs whether his Instagram account was hacked, Jungkook had quickly clarified on Weverse that he deleted the app. He'd explained, "I deleted my Instagram account. It wasn't hacked. I just deleted because I wasn't using it much... So don't worry! (sic)"

Remember back in 2021 when BTS Jungkook's quirky and casual Instagram id gave birth to a hilarious memefest? His original user name, @abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz, became viral instantly. But later, he changed it to '@jungkook.97'. Then, in February 2022, the BTS maknae (referred to the youngest member of a group) vanished from the world of Instagram, leaving his fans heartbroken.
And now, after 2 years, BTS' Jungkook is back on Instagram and how! The 27-year-old, slightly more than a month after getting discharged from the military, returned to the gram with a new handle. He shared the good news during his latest Weverse live. JK has already gained 2 million followers on Instagram and follows the rest 6 BTS members along with Big Hit's official Ig handle.

BTS Jungkook is now on Instagram with the username '@mnijungkook'. Now, fans must be wondering what that means. During his Weverse live session, Jungkook explained the meaning behind his username and which is "My Name Is Junkook".
Taking his fans by surprise, Jungkook said, "The full form of the user ID is: My Name Is Jungkook."
