Recently, the kdrama actress-singer found herself in an awkward situation over her old comment on ex bf Jun-yeol's dating news with Han So-hee.

It all started when pictures of the two holidaying in Hawaii broke the internet. The Nevertheless actress also confirmed their relationship. However, everything took an ugly turn when Hyeri posted an Instagram story with a short and sarcastic comment where she just wrote "Interesting".
Soon after this, the tension got escalated between Han so-hee and Hyeri. Just days later, So-hee announced her break up with Jun-yeol and publicly addressed the entire issue, sparking speculations of the impact of the controversy.

But why is Hyeri's almost a year-old sarcastic comment on the now ex-couple Ryu Jun-yeol Han so-hee trending again? Well, it's because of Coupang Play's ongoing variety show Office Workers. Hyeri recently appeared on the variety show and got visibly awkward when the cast members dug out her sarcastic remark on Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee's dating news.
During one of the segment where everyone talked about posting embarrassing stuffs social media while being drunk, Hyeri revealed that she had never done something like this. Soon after this, comedian Kim Won Hoon teased the actress by saying, as quoted by Koreaboo, "That thing you did while completely sober was really 'interesting'(sic)".
To ease up the tension, veteran entertainer Shin Dong Yup can be heard saying, "Maybe we should refrain from saying 'interesting'? Is that okay? (sic)". To which, Hyeri responded, "It'll be good to say 'interesting' only when something is interesting. Right now, it's not. (sic)"
