K-Pop Quintet LE SSERAFIM Taps Indian Hitmaker Guru Randhawa For ‘BOOMPALA’ Global Remix

In a significant cross-cultural milestone, K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM has partnered with Indian hitmaker Guru Randhawa for the official global remix of their single, 'BOOMPALA.’

This collaboration marks Randhawa's first venture into the K-pop industry and represents LE SSERAFIM’s first project with an Indian artist.

Facilitated by Warner Music India, the remix follows the success of LE SSERAFIM's second studio album, 'PUREFLOW PT. 1,’ released in May 2026. The album earned the quintet—consisting of KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE—their fifth consecutive Top 10 entry on the Billboard 200, debuting at No. 10 and securing No. 1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart. The original track, 'BOOMPALA,’ which features a vibrant Latin house foundation sampling the hit 'Macarena,’ entered the U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 at No. 10.

The remix elevates the track into a cross-continental festival anthem. Randhawa adds his signature high-energy Punjabi vocals, blending modern Indian pop sensibilities with the group's dynamic production.

Randhawa has expanded his international reach through collaborations with artists including Pitbull, Jay Sean, The Chainsmokers, Rick Ross, and French Montana. As one of the most-streamed Punjabi artists, he continues to bridge South Asian music with the global pop stage.
