As per News18's report, Kim Soo Hyun has filed a new lawsuit against late actress Kim Sae Ron's family and Kim Se Ui (Garosero Research Institute). As per the reports, the lawsuit filed claims that the audio of Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron's conversation that were leaked before was allegedly AI-generated. News18 reports Koreaboo quoting the statement stated in the lawsuit. It read, "Kim Se Ui and the late Kim Sae Ron's family went beyond merely spreading false information based on a forged audio file (sic)." It added, "They even filed a criminal complaint against actor Kim Soo Hyun, accusing him of false charges and violations of the Child Welfare Act. This is a clear and serious case of false accusation (sic)."

The audio clip that was circulated before had Kim Soo Hyun talking about him getting intimate with the actress for the first time in it. As per the reports, the audio had Kim Soo Hyun saying, "The first time was around the winter break of my second year in middle school."

Despite all these rumors, Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference earlier this year to address that he did not date the late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor. He said earlier, "I'll address the biggest concern, I did not date the deceased when she was a minor. We dated five years ago for about a year, long before Queen of Tears aired."
