Amid Kim Soo Hyun Controversy, Disney+ Postponed Knock Off Release

After the global record-breaking success of 'Queen Of Tears' on Netflix, Kim Soo Hyun was gearing up for the release of his upcoming series 'Knock Off'. Co-starring Jo Bo-ah, the show was originally scheduled to release in the first half of this year. But due to the huge controversy around Soo-hyun, the production house decided to postpone Knock Off's release.

Confirming the same, Disney+ also issued an official statement on the same. Their statement read, as translated by Koreaboo, "After careful discussion, we have decided to put the release for 'Knockoff' on hold."

Kim Soo-hyun Controversy New Update: THIS K-pop Star Replaces Actor As PRADA Ambassador

Kim Soo-hyun was appointed as the global rand ambassador of the luxurious brand PRADA last year in December. However, just 3 months after their contract, the brand dropped Soo-hyun as their ambassador in March 2025, following to his dating scandal with 'Bloodhounds' actress Kim Sae-ron.

While the controversy around Kim Soo-hyun is yet to reach any conclusion, PRADA has now appointed new ambassador. South Korean singer and the member of K-pop group MEOVV, Gawon (full name - Lee Gawon) has replaced Kim Soo-hyun as PRADA ambassador.

For those unversed, Gawon made her PRADA debut during Milan Fashion Week in February this year.
