Journalist-turned-YouTuber Kim Se-eui grabbed a lot of eyeballs for leaking the butt-n*ked picture of the 'Queen of Tears' actor Kim Soo-hyun qt Kim Sae-ron's kitchen from their dating days. They had also released several pictures from the past lovers' dating days, call recordings and other recordings in connection with the ongoing scandal.
Amidst this, Soo-hyun's agency GOLD MEDALIST has filed an additional criminal complaint against GaroSero Research Institute (Ga Se-yeon) on the charges of blackmail, as per Allkpop. On March 24, actor's agency also issued a statement on the same via its legal representative L.K.B & Partners.
Previously, GOLD MEDALIST pressed charges against the YouTube channel for sharing pictures of Kim Soo-hyun's private moments during live streaming for violating the "Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, including the illegal distribution of footage using cameras."
Did Disney+ Receive Threats To Cancel Kim Soo-hyun's Upcoming Kdrama 'Knock Off'?
According to Koreaboo, in the complaint, Soo-hyun's agency allegedly claimed that GaroSero threatened Disney+ to expose more explicit pictures and videos of the actor if they don't cancel Knock Off's release.
The agency's official statement, via LKBN Partners, read (as translated by My Daily Korea) -
"Gold Medalist, the agency in charge of actor Kim Soo-hyun's management, today filed an additional complaint against Kim Se-ui, the operator of the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (hereafter "Ga Se-yeon"), on charges of intimidation under the Criminal Act."
"As you are aware, Gold Medalist accused Ga Se-yeon of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes (distribution of materials filmed using a camera, etc.) for posting private photos of actor Kim Soo-hyun on a live broadcast of the YouTube channel it operates on March 20, 2025. However, Ga Se-yeon posted the photos again on a live broadcast of the YouTube channel it operates on March 21, 2025, the day after Gold Medalist reported her. Ga Se-yeon's above-mentioned behavior is another criminal act and disregards the law and investigative authorities, making it difficult to imagine."
"In addition, Ga Se-yeon mentioned the Disney+ original drama "Knockoff" starring actor Kim Soo-hyun on live broadcasts on March 21, 2025 and March 22, 2025, and threatened actor Kim Soo-hyun by saying that she would release footage of him if Disney+ did not cancel the release of Knockoff. Ga Se-yeon even mentioned the "Nth Room" several times during the live broadcast, claiming that actor Kim Soo-hyun had committed a crime similar to the "Nth Room" and that there was footage of it. Ga Se-yeon's claims, like all of her previous claims, are completely untrue, and the footage that Ga Se-yeon claims of obviously does not exist. Ga Se-yeon's above-mentioned actions are serious criminal acts that cannot be overlooked, and we hereby inform you that Gold Medalist has promptly taken additional action against her."
