Kim Soo Hyun NEW Official Statement
Kim Soo Hyun and his agency Gold Medalist made an official statement on April 30, 2025, revealing that they have filed an additional lawsuit against the operator of Garosero Research Institute. As per Korean outlet m.entertain.naver.com, Kim Soo Hyun's agency Gold Medalist stated in their official statement, "Gold Medalist and actor Kim Soo Hyun have additionally filed lawsuits and indictments against Kim Se Yi, the operator of the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute for violating the Stalking Punishment Act (sic)." The statement further read, "Gold Medalist and actor Kim Soo Hyun have filed lawsuits and indictments against Ga Se Yeon operator Kim Se Yi for violating the Stalking Punishment Act on April 1, 2025. The gist of this is that Kim Se Yi's continuous and repeated acts of spreading false information about actor Kim Soo Hyun constitute a stalking crime against actor Kim Soo Hyun (sic)."
As per the reports, the investigation agency applied for "interim measures" against Kim Se-ui to stop stalking the Queen of Tears actor on April 22, 2025. Seoul Central District Court then accepted the "interim measure" applied on April 23, 2025. Despite being notified, the operator of the Garosero Research Institute ignored it and continued to spread false information against Kim Soo Hyun. This, therefore, appears in violation of the court's decision and became subject to criminal punishment. This demands less than 2 years of jail or a fine of less than 20 Million KRW.
