Why Is When Life Gives You Tangerines Star IU Dragged In Kim Soo-Hyun Scandal: Kim Soo-Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, had previously issued an official statement regarding Sulli's "nude scene" in the movie Real. On behalf of Kim Soo-Hyun, the agency shut down rumors suggesting that the actress was unaware of the nude scenes, stating, "The late actress and her agency fully reviewed these materials before agreeing to participate in the film (sic)." In response, Sulli's brother, Choi Da-Hee, has spoken out, calling out several prominent individuals and holding them responsible for Sulli's involvement in the nude scene in the film.

Why Is IU Being Dragged Into Kim Soo-Hyun & Sulli Scandal?

As per the late actress Sulli's brother Choi Da Hee's claims, IU (When Life Gives You Tangerines star) was the one who was first offered the role in 'Real'. But she eventually turned it down and shared the script with Sulli who ended up taking the role. Sulli's brother Choi claimed that IU was aware of the explicit scenes but allegedly chose to avoid mentioning it to Sulli.

"IU was close with Kim Soo Hyun. After rejecting the original female lead role in Real, she handed the script over to Sulli," said Choi, as per TOI's report. To note, Choi has previously praised When Life Gives You Tangerines star IU for standing in support of his sister Sulli in difficult times. Choi said in his post, "There was a body double on set during Real. The shoot followed the storyboard, but after the film was released, people said 'If we knew it would be edited this way, wouldn't it have been better to use a double?' At the time, Sulli was in a physically and mentally difficult state (sic)."

However, the production company of the movie 'Real' has previously denied the presence of any body double on the day of filming. Because of the same, actress Sulli had to shoot the scenes. Kim Soo-Hyun's agency Gold Medalist also claimed that late actress Sulli was well aware of the controversial nude scene is advance.
