At the heart of the story is Baek Soo-Jung, an ambitious team leader at Yongseong Department Store, whose professional life is shaken when Ban Joo-Yeon, the strategic planning director and heir to a major conglomerate, becomes her new boss. But their connection isn't limited to boardrooms and deadlines-the two crossed paths 16 years ago in an online game, where Ban Joo-Yeon proposed to Soo-Jung, only to face rejection.

Ju-yeon barely has time to think after pushing a rich guy to defend Su-jeong. Without making a big deal out of it, he pulls her out of the party, casually mentioning it's about to rain. As if on cue, the rain starts pouring while they sit quietly in his car. Cold and hungry, Su-jeong asks if he at least met the client he was supposed to, but he simply says they never showed up. Frustrated, she tells him to either take her home or get her something to eat.

Soon, they end up at a small, cozy egg diner, sharing a warm meal. Su-jeong notices a restaurant giveaway with cute plushies and gets excited. Ju-yeon secretly enjoys her happiness, especially since he has a hidden love for toys himself. That night, as he drives home, he feels oddly happy.

Back at the office, something strange happens during a meeting-Ju-yeon and Su-jeong are completely in sync, finishing each other's thoughts. Their coworkers exchange shocked looks, wondering when the two of them started getting along so well.

Ju-yeon and Su-jeong arrive at the office together. In the elevator, Su-jeong leans in to check out his fancy watch. As they step into the office, Ju-yeon's secretary spots a toy on the floor. This sparks curiosity among the staff-who does the mystery toy belong to? Ju-yeon panics and quickly rushes home to check his personal toy collection. Thankfully, everything is still in place. But the incident stirs up painful memories of his strict grandmother burning his childhood toys, blaming them-and him-for his parents' deaths.

Later, he overhears some employees making fun of grown men who collect toys. To his dismay, Su-jeong is there, seemingly agreeing with them, which completely ruins his mood.

The next day, Ju-yeon receives a delivery of new lights for his secret toy room but needs some electrical work done. He calls a local shop, unaware that it belongs to Su-jeong's father. Her dad, too busy with other work, sends Su-jeong in his place. Ju-yeon, sitting in his car, watches as Su-jeong unknowingly enters his house. He follows her inside, still clueless about what's about to unfold. But then, he turns and sees her face-panic hits him hard. He races to stop her, but it's too late.

Su-jeong, standing near the secret room, notices something familiar-autographed sunglasses. It clicks. This is Ju-yeon's house. She pushes the door open, and her jaw drops. Right in front of her is his hidden sanctuary filled with toys, plushies, action figures, and comics. She turns to him, wide-eyed and amused, while Ju-yeon stands frozen, like he's been caught red-handed. And just like that, the real chaos is about to begin.
