Newtopia Star Jisoo Debuts On Hot 100: Newtopia was premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 7, 2025. This much-awaited K-drama features Blackpink singer Jisoo and Park Jeong-min in the central roles. It appears Jisoo is making her presence felt in the Top 100 now. For those who do not know, Blackpink is a world-renowned group of four members: Lisa, Rose, Jennie Kim, and Jisoo. Jisoo is the oldest member of the group at 28 years of age. Newtopia, which Jisoo is heavily involved in, is a zombie apocalypse thriller drama that incorporates elements of love and the apocalypse. Newtopia Star Jisoo Debuts On The Philippines Hot 100

As per Billboard's report, Jisoo has made her grand debut on Billboard Philippines Hot 100. She stood at 56th position on the list. Jisoo's new single "earthquake" is the opening track of her solo mini-album named "AMORTAGE." AMORTAGE was released on February 14. It had four tracks, including 'Your Love,' 'Tears,' 'Hugs & Kisses' and the current chartbreaker sing 'Earthquake.'

Last year, Jisoo was introduced to the Art Book Series of Billboard Artist as Billboard Korea's latest star. To note, Billboard Philippines has all the prominent and popular songs in the Philippines including songs of both local and international artists. However, this list is updated every week.

Jisoo is known as the "mood maker" of Blackpink. She is the lead vocalist of the band who was born and raised in South Korea. She speaks various languages, including Korean, Japanese and Chinese. She is the only member of the band ground who never released her independent music. And, Amortage came as the first one this year.
